  • Workers who, after working for 10 days, are absent due to illness, reserve the right to receive fifteen (15) days’ pay if they spend the first year of work or one month for the following years with the same employer.
  • If the illness lasted up to three (3) days, employees are entitled to receive 1/2 of their daily wage for each of the three days of absence maximum.
  • If the illness lasted more than three days, for the remaining (more than three) days of sick leave, employees are entitled to receive their normal wages, less the sickness allowance they have received or are entitled to receive from their insurance institution.
